For this project, we needed to select an existing product to take to a new market and start selling internationally. I choose Herbstation, which is a hydroponic home growing system. This course is international business from a practitioner’s perspective. Emphasis is on exporting, importing, opportunity assessment techniques, financing, accounting, logistics, and socio-cultural differences.

During this course, I needed to examine modern and contemporary Asian civilizations from the end of the Mongol period to nearly the present through the historical lens. I studied the politics, and economics of Asia as well as societal ideas, values, and practices. My research was on the dynamics between Taiwan, China, and the United States historically up to the present day.
