We meet once a month to share what we have learned about a different continent each month.  Each family will share something they learned and bring a food to share.  The students will then create art, listen to music or a dance from a country on the continent we are studying.  Families will take turns preparing and presenting these activities.  If there is a holiday celebrated typically celebrated we can add that to are activities.  The continents and order is scheduled as follows: North America, Europe, Asia, Antarctica, Australia, Africa, and South America. We will start the year with a Where we Live and Maps Unit.  Geared towards children preschool age to 3rd grade.
