Sleep study time!

Yippee!!! Hyrum no longer needs to be on a CPAP machine. We had to wait for three months post surgery for a new sleep study. The new hospital is the best. We were able to get it scheduled when we needed it. No six month wait. That is always a good thing.

The staff at the sleep study were incredible. They really treat the children with care and compassion. They make it fun when they can too. Special blankets, stuffed animals, and fun things to do that they get to keep. We really love Primary Children's.

They couldn't officially tell us that the results were good after the study but our tech was very 'optimistic.' Two weeks later we met with our pulmonary specialists and it was an absolute yes. No more CPAP!

Through all of this, we learned how rare it is for patients to no longer need a CPAP. We beat the odds this time. Hyrum best night sleep in ages!
