This was taken trying to document the progression on his problems with balance and tremors. Still hearing that it must be anxiety. Ummm. Nope. This was at the early stages of the balance and tremors. They would keep progressing for awhile, with doctors saying they could not help and did not know what to do, or would not even see someone with post Covid-19 health issues. The medical system failed us.
One thing that did not fail us was this boys heart. He worked so hard to overcome his challenges. He would face it with a smile most days. The hardest days were the days of pain. He now has neuropathy. Pain management in a 9 year old is a difficult thing. Most days he was at a level 8 on a pain scale with 10 being the worst. Tears were a daily thing. Not only his but my own. He is my greatest example of overcoming hard things.
